Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what you can do about it — written to be read rather than to be survived.
This document is a plain-language baseline written for the Juwacity777 VIP site build. It has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer and it is not tailored to the laws of any particular country. It must be reviewed, completed with the operator's registered details, and adapted to the jurisdictions the platform operates in before this site goes live.
Who we are
This website is operated by [Operator legal name], trading as Juwacity777 VIP. Contact details are on our contact page.
The registered address and company registration number are not yet published here. They must be added before launch, because in most jurisdictions a data controller is required to identify itself.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information, and no more than we need for each.
Information you give us
- Account details — the information you enter when creating an account, such as your email address and chosen credentials.
- Messages you send us — the name, email address, subject and message body you submit through the contact form, so we can reply.
- Preferences you set — including responsible-play settings such as session reminders and limits.
Information collected automatically
- Technical request data — IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested. This is standard web server and CDN logging, and it is what makes it possible to serve the site, detect abuse and diagnose faults.
- Local storage on your device — a small amount of state stored in your own browser, such as whether you have already seen the loading screen this session. This never leaves your device.
What we do not collect
This site runs no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Why we use it
- To provide the service — creating and maintaining your account, and running the games.
- To reply to you — answering support enquiries you send us.
- To keep the platform safe — detecting abuse, fraud and automated attacks.
- To honour your settings — applying responsible-play limits and self-exclusions you request.
- To meet legal obligations — where a law requires us to retain or disclose information.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you.
Legal bases
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and service improvement), legal obligation (where a law requires it), and consent (where we ask for it explicitly, which you can withdraw at any time).
The precise mapping of purposes to legal bases must be confirmed during legal review, alongside the jurisdictions this platform operates in.
How long we keep it
- Account data — for as long as your account is open, and for a limited period afterwards where a law requires retention.
- Support messages — long enough to resolve your enquiry and handle any follow-up.
- Self-exclusion records — for the duration of the exclusion and afterwards, because the record is what makes the exclusion effective.
- Server logs — a short rolling window, then deleted.
[Exact retention periods to be confirmed during legal review.]
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who need it to run the platform — for example hosting and content delivery — and only to the extent required. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect the rights and safety of our users.
[A full list of sub-processors will be published here before launch.]
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on it;
- complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, contact us. We will not charge you for a reasonable request, and we will not make the process deliberately difficult.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS on every page and every request, and access to systems holding personal data is restricted to people who need it.
We deliberately do not claim any specific security certification, encryption standard or independent audit on this site, because we have not obtained one. If that changes, this section will name the credential and it will be verifiable.
Children
This platform is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will close it and delete the associated data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date shown in the sidebar. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
Questions about this policy
If anything here is unclear, or you want to exercise a right described above, get in touch through the contact page. Tell us which policy you are asking about so we can route it correctly.
